Overview: Find and contribute to bulbs
Contributing to a bulb is how you can share your own experience or opinions with another bulber. As you vote on a bulb or share your feedback through a contribution, you are participating in idea development.
Find a bulb
- The first step to helping out on bulbstorm is to find bulbs that you find interesting!
- Go to Find Bulbs and use the search or browse method to find bulbs in your interest areas.
Vote on a bulb
- Once you've reviewed a bulb, go ahead and rate it. Vote carefully, since you can vote on each bulb just once a month.
- The voting scale has five bulbs. If you think a bulb has potential, rate it high. If you think it's got some problems, rate it lower.
- Remember, the bulber earns WATT$ for each bulb they're awarded through voting. So just by rating a bulb, you're helping it out!
Add a contribution
- A contribution is how you can share your direct feedback about a bulb.
- Create a title for your contribution and select a topic from the expertise categories.
- Each contribution is listed on the contribution tab of the bulb and can be reviewed by the bulb owner, and anyone else viewing the bulb.
- Once you've posted a contribution, others can leave a comment as part of a conversation on your topic.
Earn WATT$
- As you contribute and help others develop their bulbs your contributions can be validated and earn WATT$.
- Each time a contribution is given a "Thumbs Up" you earn a Watt. If a thousand people like your contribution you'll earn 1000 WATT$!
- You can use WATT$ to promote your experience, or to support bulbs you care about
- Providing your valuable feedback is rewarded on bulbstorm
