Bart Steiner is an accomplished executive, consultant and entrepreneur with a passion for connecting brands and consumers around ideas! Prior to founding Bulbstorm in 2008, Bart founded and served for nine years as President of CM Solutions, a strategic planning and marketing consultancy serving CPG clients including Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Quaker and Dannon.
Bart previously served as CEO of CMplan.net, a collaborative Internet service targeting the retail and CPG industries, where he brought the company to profitability within its first year. Prior to his successful ventures as an entrepreneur and consultant, Bart served as Vice President of a business-intelligence software company and held various management positions at Procter & Gamble where he was twice awarded the prestigious Gold Club Award.
Bart is recognized as a Flinn Scholar, Baird Scholar, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with a triple-major, summa cum laude with honors, from University of Arizona, and is a Berger Scholar from the U of A Berger Entrepreneurship program.
Thomas Owen is an experienced business leader with decades of experience delivering financial management and consulting to high-growth private companies.
In addition to his duties as CFO at Bulbstorm, Thomas has served as the President and CEO of Accord Capital for over 20 years. Accord Capital is an investment management firm focused on growing private companies and capital appreciation opportunities. It also provides management consulting to assist firms with their capital structure and financial and operational systems.
Thomas received his MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. He received his BA in Economics from the University of Calgary.
Brian D. Krueger is a talented technology leader with over 10 years experience in game development. Brian joined Bulbstorm from online game developer Trion Worlds where he served as Director of Development & Engineering. Prior to joining Trion Worlds, he worked for nine years at console game developer Factor 5, first as a software engineer and later as Head of Production.
During his tenure in the gaming industry, Brian has worked on a number of popular titles including the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series, Lair, and the recently released MMORPG Rift.
Brian received his BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dwight Knowlton is a passionate, strategic designer who effects highly functional, highly communicative design. Dwight has led and executed award-winning designs for branding, packaging, retail-environments, product-design and the web. He has been featured multiple times in LogoLounge’s 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers, including the Master Library Edition. He is also a winner of the GuitArt international design competition sponsored by Gibson Guitars, for which he designed and built a Gibson Les Paul guitar.
Prior to joining Bulbstorm, Dwight was a Founding Partner in a strategic design firm serving numerous Fortune 500 brands. He played a significant role in the reinvention of the Safeway companies, including the floor to ceiling environmental redesign, and authored “the Safeway Dozen,” which was rolled out internationally.
Dwight studied Fine Arts at Indiana Wesleyan University and was awarded their highest honor for art & design, the Pinkerton Scholarship.
