Bulbstorm was born when our founder, Bart, an experienced consumer goods industry executive, recognized that the best ideas come from creative individuals, not big research and development departments. With countless great ideas in the minds of billions of people around the world, he knew that there had to be a way release the value of ideas.
To find a solution, Bart took this challenge to a group of trusted friends and colleagues. Lightning struck when Bart realized that his own actions were the very solution he was seeking. By sharing his concept, incorporating feedback, and applying the unique expertise of his trusted group, he had transformed his idea into an innovative solution. The solution was to leverage the power of social networks so innovators everywhere can easily find help to make their ideas a reality and build a market for their creation.
In essence, this first "bulbstorm" created bulbstorm,...a collaborative Internet community where individuals, experts and companies come together to transform ideas into true innovation.
Since early 2006, bulbstorm has been collaborating with experts in numerous fields of specialty to assemble the world's first marketplace of ideas where individual creativity is supported by collaborative social networking. bulbstorm is currently beta-testing key features of its community which simplifies and protects idea development.
